Or perhaps you want to see if counseling therapy might be right for you, your child or your family. We can help, or refer you to someone who can. We want your treatment experience to be as positive and helpful as possible. If counseling is a new experience for you, you may have some questions about it, and that’s normal. So here’s a little information to prepare you for your first contact with us.
What to Expect in Counseling
Step One - Make the call and let us help you. - Call 303 730 8858 for an initial assessment. You will be asked a number of questions that will help us determine how we can best help you. We can help you with payment and insurance questions.
Step Two - Meet to determine how we will work together. - Your first appointment will be with a therapist on our Access team. He or she will carefully listen to your needs and concerns, and gather information regarding your treatment history, symptoms and other relevant issues. This information is then used to determine which of our many therapists is best suited to care for your needs. You and your Access therapist will decide together what treatment options are best for you. Our options include, but are not limited to, single-session treatment; individual, family and group therapy; episodic care; speciality team referrals; community referrals; and/or residential treatment. Sometimes, medication is appropriate. Your access therapist will explain the next steps for receiving services. At the conclusion of the initial appointment, you will create a new appointment with either a therapist or case manager.
Step Three - Develop a Treatment Plan - Get Going! - At the second appointment, your therapist or case manager will help to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and begin treatment. Talk with your clinical care coordinator about your feelings. Be as open and honest as you can. Ask questions. Remember -- this is your treatment plan. The more you contribute, the better the outcomes may be. Make sure you give plenty of feedback to your therapist and incorporate an end to treatment, if realistic, in your goals. Do remember that change takes time. Lasting changes require a commitment on your part to be more successful.
Step Four - Achieve your treatment goals. - Once you have achieved your treatment goals, talk to your clinical care coordinator about finishing treatment and updating your treatment plan. Perhaps you need some community support or other external resources to help you with your recovery. Sometimes people feel motivated to end counseling without a closing session. It's usually in your best interest, however, to follow through treatment to its conclusion. You'll likely feel better at the end of your treatment, as many people do!
Payment is expected at the time of each appointment. Please bring your insurance card or proof of income to help us determine your counseling fees. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Cash and checks are also accepted. We accept private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare. Most major insurance is accepted. Below is a partial list of major insurance companies; we accept insurance from more than 100 insurers. Please call us at 303 730 8858 to determine if you can use your benefits with us.

Alternative payment options
For clients who do NOT have insurance benefits or Medicaid, AllHealth Network offers alternative payment options. To apply for a sliding fee discount, financial documentation and proof of current dependents must be submitted. To obtain the appropriate financial forms or to inquire about the sliding fee discount, please check with our insurance specialist by calling 303 730 8858.
