Me & My Person
For Flyer:
This group will help you and your child connect to one another at a basic, playful level; learn communication, compromising, and coping skills along with building self-esteem and empowerment. This group will also help caregivers understand where and/or why their little humans are struggling, best communication practices to help with those struggles, and also help parents develop the skills needed to prevent meltdowns.
Group requirements:
1. Clients MUST have a primary therapist to participate in the Me & My Person group.
2. Caregivers must attend and participate in group with their child. Every child attending must have their “own” adult to attend with them.
3. This group will take place in a variety of areas (indoors & outdoors) and utilize a variety of mediums.
*Please bring spare clothes (just in case!)
4. Caregivers and/or clients may attend if they have no history of elopement, property destruction, aggressive or violent outbursts, and/or severe dysregulation.
5.All group attendees must be vetted by the group facilitator.
6. So long as either the adult or child is an enrolled client with AllHealth Network, the parent/child team may join this group.
