Executive Function & Emotional Regulation Interactive Skills group will be a hybrid group, online participation will be drop-in. However, clients wanting to participate in-person with AHN therapy dog, Fusion, will need to schedule a 30 minute HAI (Human-Animal Interactions) individual appointment with C Blanck and Fusion to review AHN’s HAI policies and disclosures and meet Fusion 😊 before engaging in the in-person elements of the group.

Group’s description: Struggling with follow-through, motivation, or emotional overwhelm? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out alone either! Paws & Plans is an 8-week therapy group designed for adults who experience executive dysfunction and emotional regulation challenges, especially those who are neurodiverse, trauma-impacted, or navigating high stress. This group combines the structure and support of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with the grounding and co-regulation of Human-Animal Interactions (HAI). Featuring AHN’s Wellness Center’s very own certified therapy dog, Fusion!

Skills: • Time management, task initiation, and planning • Emotional identification and distress tolerance • Social-emotional awareness and interpersonal effectiveness • Mindfulness, motivation, and self-compassion
