State-of-the-art facility expands access to crisis care, and alleviates strain on emergency rooms and jails
(Centennial, CO)- September 21, 2026 — Today AllHealth Network announced the upcoming groundbreaking of its new Crisis and Recovery Center in Centennial, marking a significant step toward increasing access to mental health and substance use services in the state. Construction on the new building is scheduled to begin in October and will replace and expand on the organization’s current Acute Care Services location in downtown Littleton. The downtown Littleton location will continue providing services through the end of 2027.
AllHealth Network will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, October 19th at 10am at the new location 9799 E Geddes Ave. Centennial, CO 80112.
“There is a critical need for a facility like this in our community,” says AllHealth Network Chief Clinical Officer, Jen Bock. “The new program will help transform behavioral health crisis services by offering immediate, on-site assessment and care for people experiencing mental health emergencies and substance use crises, offering an approach that can significantly improve outcomes.”
The Crisis and Recovery center will serve people of all ages, regardless of ability to pay, who present with a behavioral health crisis, such as suicidal thoughts or dealing with substance use or withdrawal. Individuals may arrive on their own, with family or loved ones, or by police and emergency service providers through a secure, controlled entry.
Specifically designed to have a strong partnership with law enforcement, The Crisis Receiving Center will serve as an alternative to emergency departments and jails for people experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
“Our deputies are often the first to encounter someone who is struggling with a mental health or substance use issue and may be a threat to themselves or others,” said Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown. “Having a place where they can bring that person to receive immediate, specialized care is a tremendous resource. It allows us to connect people with the appropriate care more quickly, while also enabling our deputies to quickly return to serving our community.”
Unlike traditional crisis response systems that often require individuals to be transported to emergency departments for medical clearance before receiving behavioral health care, AllHealth Network’s Crisis and Recovery Center will be able to quickly assess a person’s needs on site and connect them to the appropriate treatment, either within the AllHealth Network system of care, or with other partners.
Services will include crisis assessment, 23-hour observation, medical withdrawal management, safety planning, medication management—including emergency medications, administration of prescribed medications, and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) or medication assisted treatment (MAT)—and care coordination to appropriate services.
“The Center is designed to improve outcomes by making sure people get the right care at the right time,” said Bock. “No matter the crisis they are experiencing our medical and behavioral health experts will be able to accurately assess their needs and quickly provide the care they need. That can make a meaningful difference in their recovery.”
Construction is scheduled to begin this October. AllHealth Network will continue to provide services at its downtown Littleton location through the end of the year.
