Mental health myths and misconceptions can prevent people from seeking the support they need. During Mental Health Awareness Month, Sarah Prager, Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at AllHealth Network, joined 9NEWS Denver to discuss the importance of reducing stigma and encouraging open conversations about mental health.
In the interview, Sarah addressed common misconceptions about mental health care, including the belief that people should handle challenges on their own or wait until a crisis occurs before seeking help. These barriers can prevent individuals and families from accessing support early, when care can have the greatest impact.
At AllHealth Network, we believe mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and easy to navigate. Our Assessment & Referral Program helps connect individuals to the right services quickly and without barriers to access.
We are grateful to 9NEWS Denver for helping raise awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month and reminding our community that support is available and no one has to navigate mental health challenges alone.
