Recently, Desiree McAllister, Clinical Director of School-Based Services at AllHealth Network, spoke with CBS Colorado about why school-based mental health services are so important and how families can continue receiving care throughout the summer.
AllHealth Network has counselors embedded in more than 40 schools across the Denver metro area, making it easier for children and teens to access support for concerns like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and suicidal ideation.
While school is out, our support doesn’t stop. We continue providing in-person, virtual, and group counseling for youth, families, and parents throughout the summer. This is especially important, as many students can lose routine and connection during the break, causing mental health needs to go unnoticed.
Our School-Based Services team currently has same-day availability and intakes available.
If your child or family could benefit from support this summer, call (303) 730-8858 and ask for the School-Based Team.
