Free De-escalation Training Hosted by AllHealth Network’s Community Engagement Team (CET)
AllHealth Network’s Community Engagement Team is offering a free, two-hour virtual de-escalation training designed to help community members, professionals, and frontline workers respond safely and confidently during moments of heightened stress.
Why De-escalation Skills Matter
Stress can intensify rapidly, especially when someone feels emotionally or physically unsafe. In these moments, our bodies and brains shift into survival mode, and interactions can escalate quickly. Having the tools to recognize a stress response and intervene appropriately can make a significant difference in keeping everyone safe.
This training helps participants:
-
Understand how stress affects behavior and communication
-
Recognize signs that someone is becoming overwhelmed
-
Learn practical, effective de-escalation techniques
-
Build confidence in responding calmly and safely in tense situations
Participants consistently share that the training is “super helpful in understanding the stress cycle” and empowers them to feel “more in control during intense or escalated situations,” says Community Engagement Coordinator, Ally Burdick.
Who Should Attend?
This training is valuable for anyone who interacts with community members or works in high-stress roles, including:
-
Educators

-
