Supporting Students Through Back-to-School Anxiety

Heading back to school can bring excitement, but for some students, it can also bring increased anxiety and challenges with peer or family relationships. Desiree McAllister, Clinical Director of School-Based Services at AllHealth Network, recently spoke with CBS News Colorado about what students may be experiencing and how schools can help connect them with support.

Support Right at School

AllHealth Network works directly in 40 schools across the Denver metro area, making behavioral health care more accessible for students. Our School-Based Services team provides:

  • Individual and family therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Clinical assessments
  • Prevention services

By providing care right at school, students can get support in a familiar and accessible environment. Most importantly, we want students and families to know: It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to seek support.
